The FQR-880 800MM x 80MM Newtonian Reflector telescopes features Galileo's new White Satin paint scheme as well as many other new modifications. Among these are Galileo's new Electronic Wireless Focuser enabling the user to focus the telescope without touching it for improved image viewing. The QR Series also adds the Galileo Quick Release system which makes rotating, adjusting and removing the optical tube assembly as quick and easy as flipping the Q.R. lever. This feature is particularly handy when using the 1.5 erecting lens for viewing during the day at land objects.
Also, included are two 1.25 professional size eye pieces. The 20MM will provide bright images with a wide field of view, while the 6.8mm thru 16mm Zoom allows you to change powers by simply turning the collar. It's like having 12 eyepieces in one. The Mars Eye electronic finder scope makes locating objects as easy as placing the Red Dot on the desired object. The Galileo Planetarium C D rom is your road map to the stars. It will help you identify objects in the sky as well giving volumes of information and pictures.
The Galileo FOR-880 is the perfect telescope for the beginner or intermediate level star gazer. It can also be upgraded to a fully electronic, tracking telescope at a later date as it fits perfectly in Galileo's Electronic Equatorial Mount & Tripod assembly.
