Panasonic's KX-TG6413T expandable phone system uses DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) technology to give you clear conversation with reduced noise and excellent cordless range. The handsets feature a large 1.8" screen and Caller ID so you can easily see who's calling. The keypads light up for easy dialing at night, and a locater button on the base unit helps you find the handsets anywhere in the house.
You can put unwanted callers on the phone's Call Block list, and when they call they'll simply get a busy signal. If you want to turn off the ringer when you go to sleep, just switch the handset to "Silent Mode" and you won't hear a sound. But don't worry about missing an important call if you forget to turn the ringer back on - the handset's light-up indicator will still alert you when a call comes in.
The KX-TG6413T operates in the 1.9 GHz frequency bandwidth, so it won't cause problems with Wi-Fi computer networks or other common wireless devices. If you want to expand this system to accommodate a large household or small business, you can add up to three more handsets - for a total of six - still using just one phone jack.
