GPS
geotagging and World Map display
A
high-performance GPS chip records location data for each shot,
and the system's updatable A-GPS (Assisted GPS) file helps
minimize the time required to provide position information. The
system can also be set to log your movements, even when not
taking pictures. Pictures and routes can then be viewed using
the new Built-in world map display. These functions combine to
open up a whole new dimension in photographic pleasure, from
tracking your progress on a golf course, to marking the
location of that great catch or accomplishment. There is also a
digital compass function that records the camera's orientation
when shooting.
Note:
The URL for downloading A-GPS file updates will be posted once
the product is released.
