Roll out to your favorite tunes with the CDX-GT270MP Sony car stereo receiver, featuring an MP3 player-friendly front auxiliary input and a detachable faceplate for security. Plug in your iPod®, iPhone®, Walkman® or other compatible player and sit back as the sounds of your favorite songs melt away the miles. Or pop in a CD—you can play standard CDs plus burned CD-Rs and CD-RWs loaded with MP3 or WMA music files1. The internal Dynamic Reality Amp delivers 52 watts x 4 to your interior speakers, so it boasts plenty of power without distorting your sound. You can even customize EQ settings across all sources, including burned CDs.

The easy-to-read single line LCD display shows clock, station ID and track data when playing back digital MP3/WMA files from the internal CD drive. Front auxiliary input lets you connect almost any portable audio device to your car's sound system.

The internal Dynamic Reality Amp delivers 52 watts x 4 to your interior speakers, allowing you to crank up the volume while maintaining low distortion, low noise levels and smooth frequency response. Your music isn't just louder, its clearer too.

Control your receiver while keeping your eyes on the road with the included wireless card remote (RM-X201).

The internal 3 band EQ allows users to customize the sound centered at 60 Hz, 1000 Hz and 10 kHz frequencies. Dialing in the built-in electronic Hi-pass and Lo-pass (HPF/LPF) crossovers will improve sound quality and reduce system distortion.

The Digital Clarity Tuner delivers industry leading signal to noise ratios, lower interference, better multipath rejection and better stereo separation. The RDS feature displays broadcast information when listening to compatible AM/FM stations.

This receiver is compatible with aftermarket remote control adapters2 designed to utilize the vehicles existing, primary radio controls directly from the steering wheel. The 1/8" rear panel mounted remote input jack allows for simple connectivity.

The Sony® CDX-GT270MP play CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs, including discs loaded with digital MP3s and WMA files<1Footnote/>.

When you're ready to expand your system, the CDX-GT270MP offers selectable 2 volt rear or subwoofer pre-amp RCA outputs for external amplifiers. The adjustable subwoofer level control lets you dial in the bass when you're ready to pump it up.

Red key illumination helps you locate buttons quickly during evening playback.
