Overall Customer Rating

Shaxon's RJ45 to 110 Shielded Category 6A keystone jack is designed to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet over copper. Color coded 110 clips make wire termination fast and simple and a fully shielded interface protects data from EMI/RFI interference and feature the appropriate color code for either 568A or 568B terminations. Category 6A keystone jacks snap into a wall plate, surface mount box or keystone patch panel to provide a termination point for backbone/horizontal network wiring. Category 6A was developed to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet specification and is backwards compatible with 10/100Base-T and 1000 Base-T. Category 6A is superior to Category 6 in bandwidth (500MHz as opposed to 250MHz) and utilizes higher twist ratios and buffer space around the 4 jacketed pairs for better pair separation.

Features
Category 6A
Category 6A cable, commonly referred to as Augmented Category 6, is a standardized twisted pair cable for Ethernet and other network physical layers that is backward compatible with the Category 6, Category 5/5e, and Category 3 cable standards. The cable provides performance of up to 500 MHz and is suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T, 1000BASE-T, and 10GBASE-T for distances of up to 100 meters.
Cabling Standards
Network cabling standards are used internationally and are published by ISO/IEC, CENELEC and the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA). Since 1995, solid-conductor UTP cables for backbone cabling is required to be no thicker than 22 AWG and no thinner than 24 AWG, or 26 AWG for shorter-distance cabling.
